Polygon Forge Demo
A downloadable game for Windows
A little shape with a cannon strapped to it, versus the whole arena.
HOW IT PLAYS
Move with WASD, aim with the mouse, hold to fire. Shapes drift in from the
edges, you break them, they drop healing gems, and you keep going until the
wave is empty.
Clear it and the forge offers three cards. Pick one. Pick the same card
again later and it levels up instead of wasting the draw - so a run grows a
personality: a railgun, a fan of ricochets, a hull full of thorns, a shape
that just will not die.
Every fifth wave is a boss. It announces what it is about to do, gives you
a second to read it, then does it. Learn the tell.
THE HANGAR
Five hulls and eight paints - both cosmetic, so pick what makes you happy.
The sigil is the one that matters: six of them, and whichever you bind
becomes a free level-1 card the moment the run starts.
IF YOU LIKE NUMBERS
- 26 cards across six families: cannon, trajectory, hull, motor, vital,
element - each one stacks, and the tray tells you at a glance what
you've become
- bosses with telegraphs, an off-screen pointer and a health bar
- best wave, best score, runs, shapes destroyed and bosses beaten, all
tracked between runs
CONTROLS
Move WASD or arrow keys
Aim mouse
Fire hold left click or Space
(auto-fire starts OFF - press F to flip it)
Pause Esc
Mute M
Restart R (on the game-over screen)
SETTINGS
Volume, auto-fire, fullscreen, visual effects, screen shake and a frame
limit (60 / 120 / uncapped). There is no music on purpose - just the
effects, and M mutes those too.
